Artsfest weekend was a success! Both Max and I had a great time running the stall at the Art on the Rails pitch in Centenary Square. We met a lot of lovely people, sold some artwork, and roasted in the sun. Some people I met last year also visited us which was great!
And as promised, here is the finished video game A-Z, A3 poster which sold out over the weekend. Can you name them all?
And for anyone who missed out on grabbing one at Artsfest, you can purchase the poster HERE.

Gaming A - Z (preview)
Artsfest is approaching, so if you're in Birmingham on Saturday or Sunday the 8th and 9th of September drop by the Art on the Rails to say hi to the wonderful Max and me! Here's a preview of an A to Z of video games I've played which I've been working on for artsfest. See if you can get them all!

Artsfest!
So after a successful weekend, I have a few photos to share (courtesy of my sister) of my stand. It was incredibly windy, which made things interesting, and threatened rain on and off (though we only got a little shower). Sadly, I didn't get a chance to look around much, but I did meet lots of interesting people!
Hopefully will be back next year too!

Artsfest Preparations
Hey guys!
Things are almost finished for the Birmingham Artsfest tomorrow! Originals, prints, postcards, zines, badges and stickers, as well as calendars and posters will all be available to purchase, so come along and check it out ;) There's loads on during the weekend, plenty of free concerts and shows, and I'll be set up with the other Art On The Rails people up in Centenary Square.
Will hopefully be uploading pictures of the weekend, so everyone hope for nice weather this weekend, ok? Anything I have left over will be sold via this blog after the event, so no worries if you miss anything!
See you there ~

Japanese Bunnies
Some of the originals I'm selling at Artsfest, these are watercolour with gold ink detail. I'll also be selling some postcard-sized prints of them too :)

Artsfest Preparations
Quick update time!
I've been allocated plot 6 at the Birmingham Artsfest, which means I'll be up nearer to the stage outside the Rep, near to where I was last year.
I've got some prints, original pieces, postcards, badges and calendars. If they're finished in time I'll have a few writing paper sets too. Hopefully I'll see you there!

Calender Flowers
Here's some scans of the first 4 images of flowers relating to each month of the calender. The calendar itself should be available at Artsfest if all goes well!
Done entirely in markers, apologies for the quick bad-q scan, guys!

Artsfest 2011
So, I've got confirmation that I'll be at Birmingham Artsfest 2011 this September, both Saturday and Sunday. I'll have some original artwork, prints, some zines and badges to sell, and possibly a couple of t-shirts too.
Feel free to come and say hi! I'll be set up on the Art On The Railings by The Rep. Until then I have uni to finish and some fresh artwork to produce!

Artsfest End
I am definitely tuckered out after such a fun weekend at Artsfest! I met loads of nice people, chatted and had a good time, and also sold some work, so it was a great success. Thank you to all of you who liked my work enough to buy it!
I'll be working on the blog a bit more so there'll be more artwork up soon, and I still have some prints left over so I'll going to put them in packs if anybody is interested. They'll be up on the 'products' page. Pictures will follow, I'm just typing this on a laptop without easy access to them, so keep checking back!
There's also been some interest in commissioning work. If you want anything done, please e-mail me (see my contact page). At a rough estimate, a colour A4 original is going to be about £30, and a black and white around £20-£25. But like I said, drop me a line and I'll work something out :)
Of course, if you just want to say hi you're welcome to do so as well!

Night before Artsfest
Just about got everything ready for Artsfest. Had a bit of a malfunction with some of the T-shirts and I'm not happy with the modpens so they'll be left at home - only about 8 T-shirts are available to buy over the weekend (and at reduced price!). Sadly it seems that time has simply gotten away from me.
However there are plenty of prints and originals, many in nice frames, so feel free to drop by! I'll be doing some work there on the day as well, so I'm taking requests :) I hope people will like what they see and buy! This is my first actual attempt to sell any of my work so I think I'm understandably nervous.
Hopefully all will go well and I shall update after Saturday!

Design Blog
Hello!
This blog was created by me to keep track of and give information about my artwork and designs. My name is Georgina and I am currently working on a variety of projects. Chief among them at this time are products for Birmingham Artsfest 2010, where I am hosting a small stand as part of the 'Art On The Rails'.
For this I have tailored some of my designs and have been hand-painting them on to t-shirts. I have also been working on various prints and original pieces of artwork, as well as hand-made keyrings and stickers.
In regards to the clothing, as I am an independent designer and will have a limited audience, I am only producing a small number of designs and in limited sizes - these being medium and large in both male and female. However, I am always happy to custom-make a shirt for anyone; please e-mail me (see contact details).
I am also eager to hear what people think of my work, so please feel free to leave a comment!
Happy browsing!
